18.5 foot LOA diesel launch, dusty and dirty from storage! Similar to a plymouth pilot but it is different, make not known - I've tried to find out and failed.
Comes with fully rebuilt lister air cooled 2 cylinder and recon gearbox (Engine and gearbox are practically worth the asking price, they were bought for the dredging project in 2015) Launch requires some renovation to go back in water, hole in exhaust needs to be fixed but is above the waterline. Last used as workboat on Driffield navigation for dredging in 2015, has been in storage since.
Engine came from a narrowboat, was rebuilt by a garage in 2015. This was fitted with a reconditioned mechanical box. A Lister hydraulic box could be made available with the engine if required but needs a new oil pump drive..
Trailer is not included in sale (belongs to another boat) but I will include it for £500 additional if needed, and can potentially be used for delivery by arrangement. Space needed. Will remove engine and gearbox to sell separately if required, as they are where the value is.
Believed to have been built for the navy (from memory 1967?) and there is a hull number somewhere, can't remember where right now. Understood to have been a ships boat on an Antarctic research vessel.
